Actor Aaron Paul has officially closed the book on his iconic “Breaking Bad” character Jesse Pinkman following 64 episodes of television and a feature film.
Paul has been playing the character on and off since the pilot of “Breaking Bad” in 2007. That series wrapped in late 2013, but Paul then reprised the role in movie “El Camino” for Netflix in 2019 – that film serving as an epilogue to the main series.
More recently, Paul appeared in two episodes of the prequel spin-off series “Better Call Saul” which wrapped its run this week. Paul tells THR that: “[Jesse Pinkman] will always have a special place inside of me, but I can confidently say that [Better Call Saul] was the last time we’re going to see Pinkman. So it was a nice farewell.”
The actor, now 42 years old, has more recently been starring in the fourth season of HBO’s “Westworld”.
