Boyd Holbrook (“The Sandman”), Michael Shannon (“Bullet Train”) and Damon Herriman (“Justified”) have joined the cast of “Take Shelter” and “Loving” director Jeff Nichols’ new film “The Bikeriders” at New Regency.
The trio will join the already cast Tom Hardy, Austin Butler and Jodie Comer on the feature, a fictional story inspired by the photography of Danny Lyon’s 1967 book of the same name.
Set in the 1960s, the film will follow the rise of a fictional Midwestern motorcycle club as seen through the lives of its members.
The club evolves over the course of a decade from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more sinister gang, threatening the original group’s unique way of life.
