Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed on Instagram that additional filming on Marvel Studios’ “Secret Invasion” series for the Disney+ service has been completed.
The series is based on the crossover comic event series showcasing a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls having infiltrated Earth for years.
Jackson reprises his role as Nick Fury along with returnees Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos. Also onboard are Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald and Carmen Ejogo.
The series will be a part of Marvel’s Phase Five plans and is currently tracking for an early 2023 debut.
