A new feature piece over at Deadline has gone into some of the reveals we could expect to see at San Diego Comic-Con this week which returns in-person for the first time since 2019.

According to the site, the Marvel panel in Hall H should offer sneak peeks of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and the upcoming “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” series. However they don’t expect this to be comparable to the 2019 panel which effectively announced the company’s Phase 4 plans.

Their sources suggest Marvel is saving new project announcements for Disney’s fan convention D23 during the second weekend of September. What’s not clear is what that means for stuff already in the works or announced including “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” “Blade,” “The Marvels” and “Fantastic Four”.

On the DC side, the Warner Bros. panel will reportedly put the focus on “Black Adam” and “Shazam: Fury of the Gods” with good looks at both, but there’s “buzz that Henry Cavill will put in a surprise appearance to talk up more Superman”. Collider has since posted that Cavill has “The Witcher” S3 filming commitments in the UK on Friday, putting his convention appearance in doubt.

Keanu Reeves is making an appearance to talk the “BRZRKR” movie while his “John Wick: Chapter 4” director Chad Stahelski is also at the convention leading to suggestions of a surprise tease of that film. Paramount will also have early looks at “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” and the “Teen Wolf” movie.
