“Nope” actor Daniel Kaluuya has confirmed that his planned adaptation of kids dinosaur icon “Barney” is still in early development at his production company 59% with the script getting a rework before it heads into production. No Hard Feelings
Sony Pictures has set a June 16th 2023 release date for the R-rated comedy “No Hard Feelings” starring Jennifer Lawrence. Gene Stupnitsky (“Good Boys”) directs and co-writes the film with John Phillips (“Dirty Grandpa”) said to be an “R-rated comedy with a heart”. Plot specifics are under wraps.

Empire of Light
Searchlight has announced that “American Beauty” filmmaker Sam Mendes’ “Empire of Light” has set a December 9th release. Colin Firth, Olivia Colman and Toby Jones star in the story set in and around a beautiful old cinema on the South Coast of England in the 1980s.

ESPN+
ESPN+ reportedly intends to raise its monthly subscription fee by $3 a month – a 43% price hike – that will see it jump from $6.99 to $9.99 per month. Subscribers to ESPN+ are expected to be notified officially next week. However, the price of the Disney Bundle that includes ESPN+, Disney+ and Hulu, will not change at present. [Source: Variety]

“Bad Boys” actor Martin Lawrence has dismissed the notion that the Will Smith Oscars slap has put an end to plans for a fourth “Bad Boys,” the actor saying: “We got one more at least.” Sony CEO Tom Rothman has previously indicated the movie is still in development. [Source: Ebony]
