Universal Pictures has released the official trailer for the Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan-led dramatic feature “She Said” to debut in cinemas on November 18th.
The story is based on Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey’s 2019 non-fiction book and follows two New York Times journalists who broke the story exposing disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein’s long history of sexual misconduct.
In the process the scandel helped propel the #Metoo movement, and shattered decades of silence around the subject of sexual assault in not just Hollywood but corporate culture across much of the western world.
Patricia Clarkson, Andre Braugher, Samantha Morton, Tom Pelphrey, and Adam Supiro co-star while Maria Schrader directs from a screenplay by Rebecca Lenkiewicz. Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner produce.
