A revival of “Criminal Minds” is a go again on the Paramount+ service with a series order just handed out almost a year and a half after the project was first announced.
Cast members Joe Mantegna, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, A.J. Cook, Aisha Tyler and Paget Brewster are coming back along with long-time showrunner Erica Messer is also on board.
Two faces – Matthew Gray Gubler and Daniel Henney – won’t be returning. This version of the series will be serialized, with the team working on a single case over the course of the season.
The original series is consistently among the most watched acquired shows on Netflix.
