Disney is teaming up with the world’s most popular K-pop group BTS for a new global content partnership deal.
The plan is to work together to produce five titles for Disney’s streaming services, with three exclusive projects to feature BTS or BTS members.
One is an exclusive cinematic 4K concert film featuring BTS; live performance in Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium in November last year.
Another is “In the Soup: Friendcation,” an original travel reality show with a star-studded cast including V of BTS,’ Seo-jun Park, Woo-shik Choi, Hyung-sik Park and Peakboy. That follows five friends venturing on a surprise trip and enjoying a variety of leisure and fun activities.
Finally there’s “BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star,” an original docu-series with unprecedented access to a vast library of music and footage over the past nine years.
