Apple TV+ has renewed its Maya Rudolph-led workplace comedy “Loot” for a second season.

Rudolph plays a billionaire who spirals publicly after discovering her husband’s affair. She embarks on a journey of self-discovery, trying to help out at the charity foundation she has only just realised she owns.

Michaela Jae Rodriguez, Ron Funches, Nat Faxon and Joel Kim Booster also star while Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard executive produce.

The news follows in the wake of a multi-year, first-look deal Apple has set up with the show’s production company Animal Pictures.

The first five episodes of the ten-episode season are now streaming on Apple TV+ with new episodes premiering every Friday.
