HBO Max has revealed the first-look photo for the long-awaited third season of its DC adult-animated series “Harley Quinn” which returns later this year.

The series follows Harley Quinn‘s adventures which began after her break with the Joker. The second season ended with Harley and Poison Ivy getting together following Ivy’s failed wedding with Kite Man. [Source: HBO Max]

The Summer I Turned Pretty
Jenny Han’s Amazon Prime drama series “The Summer I Turned Pretty” has been renewed for a second season a week before the seven-episode first season has premiered.

Based on Han’s book series, the multigenerational drama hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. [Source: Variety]

Sonic Prime
SEGA held a Sonic Central stream yesterday which offered a sneak peek of the upcoming animated Netflix series “Sonic Prime” along with an animated special that serves as a prequel to the “Sonic Frontiers” game. The “Sonic Prime” clip shows off some Shadow the Hedgehog action, while the animated special clip offered a single shot of Knuckles action.

Run Rose Run
Sony Pictures has landed rights to the Dolly Parton-led “Run, Rose, Run” based on the novel by James Patterson. A theatrical release is planned. Parton will also produce.

The story is about a young woman who heads to Nashville to pursue her music-making dreams and is taken under the wing of a female musical icon. The source of their heart-wrenching songs are secrets both have tried to hide. [Source: THR]

A new featurette is out for Jordan Peele’s highly-anticipated horror-thriller “Nope” which Universal will release theatrically on July 22nd. Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya leads a cast that includes Keke Palmer and Steven Yeun and the clip teases a blend of both behind-the-scenes filming and clips from the actual film.
