Activision has released the official ‘world reveal’ trailer for this year’s “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II” which hails from their Infinity Ward developers.
A continuation of the 2019 reboot entry, this features several returning characters including Captain John Price (Barry Sloane), Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick (Elliot Knight), Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley (Samuel Roukin), Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish (Neil Ellice), and CIA Station Chief Kate Laswell (Rya Kihlstedt).
They’re joined by a new character, Colonel Alejandro Vargas (Alain Mesa) in a story in which Price forms the elite multinational counter-terrorist unit Task Force 141 with Gaz, Soap, and Ghost.
The title will be made available on Steam for PC players for the first time in five years, alongside the franchise’s more recent home on Battle.Net.
The game’s ‘Special Ops’ co-op mode is also returning, while a packed post-release calendar will offer new maps, modes, and blockbuster special events.
Activision’s Warzone 2.0, the new free-to-play battle royale experience, will arrive sometime after October 28th and boasts new progression and inventory systems. It will be separate from the current Warzone.
