As part of PlayStation surprisingly packed State of Play slate, the company has announced that its highly acclaimed 2018 game “Marvel’s Spider-Man” and its 2020 spin-off “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales” will be making the jump to PC – and sooner than you may think.
The PS5 versions of both games are what will be making the jump with “Marvel’s Spider-Man – Remastered” set to launch, with all of its DLC, on the PC platform on August 12th. Further tech specs have yet to be released.
“Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales” doesn’t have a specific date yet but is set for sometime in the Fall. Both titles combined have sold 33 million copies as of May 15th.
Nixxes Software is behind the port, the Sony-owned Dutch video game developer specialising in porting games to Windows including the recent “Tomb Raider” trilogy, “Thief,” “Marvel’s Avengers” and the last two “Deus Ex” major titles. The company has been collaborating with Spider-Man developer Insomniac Games with a “dedication to quality above all”.
