Following a brief tease the other day, a proper nearly seven-minute gameplay trailer for the upcoming “Sonic Frontiers” game has been released.
The title features an open-world level design as players battle enemies and explore the Starfall Islands including forests, waterfalls, deserts and more.
The trailer shows Sonic doing his usual stuff of running up walls, grinding rails and solving puzzles after the character finds himself stranded on one of the islands.
SEGA is targeting high review scores for the game, hoping the title will have as much impact as “Sonic Adventure” did back in 1998.
“Sonic Frontiers” is set for release later this year on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC.
