Will Arnett will voice the iconic character flaming-haired clown character Sweet Tooth in the TV series adaptation of the “Twisted Metal” game franchise at Peacock.
Arnett, who also executive produces the series, joins previously announced cast members Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, and Neve Campbell.
The live-action half-hour action-comedy series follows a motor-mouthed outsider (Mackie) who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
With the help of a trigger-happy car thief (Beatriz), he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road.
Sweet Tooth is a lover of chaos and a majestic rage-filled killer who dons an ever-smiling clown mask and drives a signature ice cream truck.
Playstation Productions is backing the series which has Michael Jonathan Smith as writer, showrunner, and executive producer while “Deadpool” scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick also executive produce along with Mackie and Kitao Sakurai.
