Netflix has released a 27-second teaser for Tim Burton’s live-action Addams Family series “Wednesday”. The tease comes ahead of the proper first look trailer which will arrive during the streamer’s Geeked Week event starting this coming Monday.
The clip offers a first look at Thing, the disembodied hand and family member in this coming-of-age comedy series starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams during her years at Nevermore Academy.
Dubbed a supernaturally infused mystery, it also stars Luis Guzman and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Gomez and Morticia, along with Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa and Moosa Mostafa.
“Smallville” creators Al Gough and Miles Millar penned the series which sees Wednesday attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve a mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.
