Hot on the heels of its Star Wars Celebration panel, Lucasfilm has released a trailer for the second season of its animated series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”.
Serving as a sequel and spin-off to Dave Filoni’s “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and an ‘ending’ to the era of the prequels, the story follows the elite commando unit known as Clone Force 99 whom are all voiced by Dee Bradley Baker alongside Michelle Ang as Omega. In the new run, we see the Empire is continuing its expansion plans and shots feature both Emperor Palpatine and a Wookie with a lightsaber.
Filoni executive produces while Jennifer Corbett serves as head writer and Brad Rau as supervising director. The new episodes will hit Disney+ this Fall.
