Lucasfilm has officially announced the animated anthology series “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” during a panel at this weekend’s “Star Wars” Celebration event.
The project is confirmed to be taking place in the High Republic era – centuries before the events of the Skywalker saga.
This series centers on a group of Younglings who, their entire life, have grown up on Coruscant. Master Yoda knows they need real-life experience in the field and put their Jedi teachings into practice.
So he sends them to different outpost temples in the Outer Rim, and together, they go on adventures saving the day and helping other people.
Michael Olson serves as executive producer and showrunner with Dave Filoni also on board to executive produce. The project is coming to Disney+ and Disney Jr. during the spring of 2023.
