Former “Gilmore Girls” star Alexis Bledel will not return for the fifth season of “The Handmaid’s Tale” for Hulu, abruptly exiting the series. No reasoning has been given for the exit. Bledel has played the key character of Emily/Ofglen since the show’s first season and has received four Emmy nominations for her work. [Source: Variety]

Amazon is set to acquire “Promising Young Woman” director Emerald Fennell’s top-secret new film “Saltburn” out of the Cannes market. Filming begins this summer in the U.K.

The film is said to be a “story of obsession” involving an aristocratic English family. Rosamund Pike, Jacob Elordi, and Barry Keoghan co-star. [Source: Indiewire]

PlayStation VR2
“Horizon: Call of the Mountain,” “Samurai Slaughter House” and “Firmament” will be among the twenty games that will reportedly be released at launch for the upcoming PlayStation VR2 system.

The launch games will include a blend of first-party and third-party titles. Details and looks at the line-up are expected to be a part of the upcoming State of Play event which was announced for next Thursday June 2nd.

Birdgirl
Adult Swim has released the trailer and set a June 19th premiere date for the second season of its “Harvey Birdman Attorney-at-Law” spin-off “Birdgirl”. Paget Brewster, Rob Delaney, Tony Hale and more all return.

The series follows Judy Ken Sebben, the daughter of Phil Ken Sebben who was killed in an accident. She is named the successor to his company and, completely out of her depth, becomes CEO with help from her friend Meredith the Mind Taker.
