Universal Pictures has premiered the trailer for “Beast,” the Idris Elba vs. a lion action thriller scheduled to hit cinemas on August 26th.
Elba stars as Dr. Nate Daniels, a recently widowed husband who returns to South Africa on a long-planned trip with his daughters (Iyana Halley, Leah Sava Jeffries) to a game reserve managed by his old friend and wildlife biologist Martin Battles (Sharlto Copley).
What begins as a journey of healing jolts into a fearsome fight for survival when a massive rogue lion, a survivor of blood-thirsty poachers who now sees all humans as the enemy, begins stalking them.
