Pixar has announced “Elemental” as the title of its Summer 2023 feature with the film locking down a June 16th 2023 release date.
The story unfolds in a city of residents made of the four different elements – fire, water, land and air – who all live together.
We follow the unlikely pair of fiery young woman Ember and go-with-the-flow Wade who discover, despite their fundamental differences, have a lot in common.
Peter Sohn (“The Good Dinosaur”) directs while Denise Ream produces with plans to make this a full theatrical release.
The project marks the next film from Pixar following “Turning Red” in March and next month’s “Lightyear”.
