Netflix has announced an upcoming slate of 2022 animated series and the preview trailer includes the first footage of its upcoming TV series “Sonic Prime” based on the “Sonic the Hedgehog” franchise.
The series will consist of 24 episodes and is dubbed “a high-octane adventure where the fate of a strange new multiverse” rests in Sonic’s hands. The project hails from animators WildBrain and is showrun by “Ben 10” company Man of Action Entertainment.
Also on the way are new episodes of “The Cuphead Show,” Jack Black returning for the new spin-off “Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight,” new seasons of “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” and “The Dragon Prince,” a standalone interactive adventure in the “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous” series (along with its fifth season) and more.
