Netflix has canceled the Steve Carell-led comedy “Space Force” after two seasons, both of which were critically panned.
Hailing from “The Office” creator Greg Daniels, the comedy was ordered straight to series with Carell scoring a $1 million per episode fee for acting and executive producing.
After the first season fell flat critically, Netflix attempted to creatively reboot the show in a second season along with reigning in the budget. Released in February, reviews did not improve.
Daniels has moved onto other projects with the streamer including “Bad Crimes” and “Exploding Kittens”.
