Two Point Campus
Sega’s “Two Point Campus,” the university-centric sequel to the beloved hospital building and administration simulation video game “Two Point Hospital,” has been delayed by three months from May 17th to August 9th.

The delay is reportedly to ensure that the game can release simultaneously on all PC and console platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The title will be available on Xbox Game Pass on Day One. [Source: VGC]

Batsh–
Universal has picked up Ryan Belenzon and Jeff Gelber’s action-thriller spec script “Batshit”. Jon Silk (“IT,” “White Boy Rick”) produces.

The story deals with a bounty app that encourages reckless behaviour. The script is inspired by dangerous antics propagated across global social media. [Source: THR]

Vent
Alcon Entertainment has acquired scribe Steven Karczynski’s psychological thriller “Vent” with Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (“The Lives of Others,” “The Tourist”) aboard to direct.

The story follows a paranoid young man who believes a kidnapping victim is tapping messages to him through his apartment building air vent. Karczynski, David Prior, Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson will produce. [Source: Deadline]

Alcarras
MUBI has landed streaming rights in the U.S., U.K. and several other countries for Spanish director Carla Simon’s Berlin Golden Bear winner “Alcarras”. The project will be released theatrically this fall in the U.S. and U.K.

The story follows an orchard-owning Spanish family who faces eviction and an uncertain future when new plans for the land involve turning it into a solar farm. [Source: Variety]
