Cree Cicchino and Felix Mallard have scored supporting lead roles alongside Isabela Merced in the Hannah Marks-directed film adaptation of John Green’s bestseller “Turtles All the Way Down” at HBO Max.
The story follows 17-year-old Aza Holmes who is trying to be a good daughter, friend, and student, all while navigating an endless barrage of invasive, obsessive thoughts that she cannot control. The Trainer
Stephen Dorff, John McEnroe, Gina Gershon and Luka Sabbat have signed on to star alongside Vito Schnabel, Julia Fox, Steven Van Zandt and Taylour Paige in the dark comedy “The Trainer”. Tony Kaye directs from a script by Schnabel and Jeff Solomon.
Filming begins Tuesday after nearly a decade in development and unfolds over eight days of sleep-deprived chaos. The story follows Jack (Schnabel), a down-on-his-luck fitness expert living with his mother in Los Angeles, who takes a maniacal swing at fame and fortune. [Source: Deadline]
The QB Bad Boy and Me
Social media star Noah Beck will make his feature acting debut in the romantic comedy “The QB Bad Boy and Me” which is being produced by Creator+ and Wattpad Webtoon Studios. Mary Gulino will adapt the book.
The film is based on Tay Marley’s Wattpad novel of the same name and follows a high school cheerleader who hopes to use it as a means of escaping her sleepy small town. Her plans are upended by the star high school quarterback (Beck). [Source: Variety]
