The band is fully back together as John DiMaggio is officially set to return as the crass robot Bender for the “Futurama” reboot on Hulu.

DiMaggio has closed a deal to reprise his iconic role along with other minor characters in the series – ensuring the entire original Planet Express crew will be back alongside creators Matt Groening and David X. Cohen.

DiMaggio’s future seemed uncertain when the actor publicly cited a pay dispute as his reasoning for not signing a deal, saying he felt the entire cast of the show was being undervalued. Both he and Hulu however seemed optimistic things would eventually work out and now it looks like they have.

In a statement, DiMaggio says: “I’M BACK, BABY! So damn grateful for the love and support of fans and colleagues alike during this whole time (especially my wife, Kate), and I cannot wait to get back to work with my ‘Futurama’ family. #Bendergate is officially over, so put it on the back of a shelf behind Xmas decorations, or maybe in that kitchen drawer with all of the other crap you put in there like old unusable crazy glue, or maybe even put it in a jar you save farts in. Whatever floats your boat, I don’t care, you get the picture. I’M BACK, BABY! BITE MY SHINY METAL ASS!”

The new “Futurama” is expected to air sometime in 2023.
