Sony Pictures has released the first photo from the biopic “Father Stu,” a film starring Mark Wahlberg as real-life boxer-turned-priest Stuart Long. Mel Gibson and Teresa Ruiz co-star in the Rosalind Ross-directed film which is set for a theatrical release on Good Friday (April 15th). [Source: Twitter]

Dwayne Johnson
In a recent interview, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed he’s currently at work on getting another video game property adapted for the screen which should be announced later this year.

He calls it “one of the biggest, most badass games” and one he’s played for years. The actor previously starred in film adaptations of the games “Doom” and “Rampage”. [Source: Men’s Health]

Living
The acclaimed reimagining of Akira Kurosawa’s 1952 classic “Ikiru,” has been sold to Sony Pictures Classics following its premiere at Sundance. Oliver Hermanus directs from a script by Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro.

Bill Nighy plays a veteran civil servant in 1950s UK reduced by years of oppressive office routine to a shadow of existence. A terminal medical diagnosis forces him to take stock and try to grasp fulfilment. [Source: Variety]

Olli Olli World
Playstation has unveiled a trailer for Roll7’s upcoming game “OlliOlli World” which launches on all platforms on February 8th.

Though lacking any, the clip offers a look into the world of Radlandia that the skateboarding game unfolds in – not pixilated like the previous two titles but fully hand-drawn animated this time out.

Halloween Ends
Actress Jamie Lee Curtis has posted the first photo of herself getting ready to play Laurie Strode one last time for the upcoming “Halloween Ends” with filming is now underway in Savannah, Georgia.

While ‘Kills’ took place on the same night as the 2018 reboot, ‘Ends’ apparently take place four years later with her character Laurie likely to have a more active role. David Gordon Green returns as director with the film opening October 14th.
