Perry Mason
Sean Astin, Tommy Dewey, Paul Raci and Jen Tullock have scored recurring roles in the second season of HBO’s “Perry Mason” series. In addition, Shea Whigham will reprise his role as Pete Strickland but in a recurring capacity in the new run which unfolds during the worst year of the Great Depression.

They join Matthew Rhys, Juliet Rylance, Chris Chalk Diarra Kilpatrick, Eric Lange and Justin Kirk; new series regular Katherine Waterston; and recurring actors Hope Davis, Jon Chaffin, Fabrizio Guido, Peter Mendoza, Onahoua Rodriguez, Jee Young Han and Mark O’Brien. [Source: THR]

The Crossover
Disney+ has handed out a series order to the basketball-themed coming-of-age drama pilot “The Crossover” based on the novel by Kwame Alexander. LeBron James, Maverick Carter and Jamal Henderson are joining as executive producers.

Alexander and Damani Johnson wrote the pilot which introduces teen brothers Josh and JB Bell, widely considered basketball phenomenon, as their former professional basketball player father adjusts to life after the sport and their mother finally gets to pursue dreams of her own. [Source: Deadline]

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
HBO has set a February 20th premiere date for the ninth season of “late-night news satire show “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver”. Guest stars like George Clooney, Jennifer Coolidge, Will Ferrell and Leslie Jones will make a guest appearance in the new season.

Law & Order
NBC has premiered the first teaser for the return of classic crime drama “Law & Order” after a decade’s absence. The series, officially beginning what will be its twenty-first season, sees Sam Waterston return along with showing off new series regulars played by Oldelya Halevi, Jeffrey Donovan and Hugh Dancy. The series premieres on February 24th.
