The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar
Rupert Friend (“Homeland”) and Richard Ayoade (“The IT Crowd”) have joined Wes Anderon’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s short story collection “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar” at Netflix.
The pair join the already cast Benedict Cumberbatch, Dev Patel, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Kingsley in the project which begins filming next week in London and is said to consist of several mini-films. [Source: Deadline]
Batgirl
Rebecca Front (“Avenue 5”), Corey Johnson (“Morbius”), and Ethan Kai (“Killing Eve”) have joined the cast of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah’s “Batgirl” movie currently filming in London for Warner Bros. and HBO Max.
Leslie Grace stars as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl along with J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Brendan Fraser as the villain and Michael Keaton as some form of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Christina Hodson penned the script. [Source: THR]
All Fun and Games
Asa Butterfield (“Sex Education”) and Natalia Dyer (“Stranger Things”) have signed on to co-star in the horror-thriller “All Fun and Games” at AGBO and Anton.
The story follows a group of siblings who are pulled into a kids game with a demonic twist. Ari Costa and Eren Celeboglu co-wrote and will co-direct the film which begins shooting in late March. [Source: THR]

Pete Davidson is set star in the James DeMonaco-directed horror thriller “The Home” at Miramax. Davidson will play Max, a troubled man who starts working at a retirement home with sinister secrets.
As he investigates the building and its forbidden fourth floor, he starts to uncover connections to his own past and upbringing as a foster child. DeMonaco, Adam Canto, Bill Block and Sebastian K. Lemercier produce. [Source: Deadline]
