“Summer” Cancelled, “Creatures” Renewed

Last Summer Cancelled Creatures Renewed
Amazon

Amazon Prime Video has cancelled its “I Know What You Did Last Summer” TV series after one season.

The project hailed from Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures TV and was dubbed a modern take on the 1973 novel by Lois Duncan and its 1997 film adaptation that follows some teenagers stalked by a killer a year after a fatal hit-and-run on their graduation night.

The series premiered on October 15th to mixed reviews before wrapping on November 12th and resolved its central mystery with no real lingering plot threads.

The news is better for Masterpiece PBS’ revival of “All Creatures Great and Small” which scored critical acclaim and strong numbers with ten million viewers watching the first season.

Ahead of the second season premiere tonight, it has been revealed the 1930s-set series has been renewed for a further two seasons.
