Danny Elfman will re-team with Tim Burton on the latter’s upcoming “Addams Family”-inspired series “Wednesday” on Netflix. Elfman will compose the series’ theme song and score all eight episodes of the series along with Chris Bacon. “Wednesday” is set to debut in 2022 on Netflix. [Source: Twitter]

Good Sam
The first trailer is out for the CBS medical drama “Good Sam” which stars Sophia Bush as a skilled but suffocated heart surgeon who takes on her new leadership roles after her domineering boss (Jason Isaacs), who is also her overbearing father, falls into a coma.

When he awakens wanting to resume his work, things aren’t as he expected when Sam has taken over as boss and is left to supervise him. The series was written by Katie Wech and directed by Tamra Davis. Michael Stahl-David and Edwin Hodge co-star in the series which premieres January 5th.

True Story
Peacock has released the trailer for their comedy series “True Story” with Ed Helms and Randall Park. The series blends the true stories of everyday people with scripted scenes featuring a host of guest stars. All six episodes will debut on January 20th.

American Dad
Ahead of the show’s 17th season premiere in late January, TBS has renewed the hit animated comedy series “American Dad” for two more seasons (18 & 19). Series co-creator/executive producer Matt Weitzman and executive producer Brian Boyle have signed new deals to continue as showrunners. [Source: TV Line]

A Very British Scandal
A new trailer is out for limited series “A Very British Scandal,” the true story of the Duke and Duchess of Argyll (Paul Bettany and Claire Foy) as their marriage in post-WW2 UK falls apart and their bitter divorce plays out in front of a worldwide audience. Anne Sewitsky directs the project which the BBC will premiere and which Amazon will release in 2022.
