Peacock has ordered a young-adult animated fantasy series adaptation of Jaymin Eve’s “The Supernatural Academy” novel series with Gillian Horvath to write for 41 Entertainment.
The books chronicles an otherworldly adventure of adversarial sisters marked at birth. One twin sister was raised in the Supernatural world, confident and popular. The other was raised in the human world, an offbeat outsider.
Now they’re to be reunited at the Supernatural Academy, and neither one of them is thrilled about it. The pair must learn to get over their differences and trust each other to save themselves and the world.
Allen Bohbot executive produces the series which will premiere on January 20th and has cast Larissa Dias, Gigi Saul Guerrero, Vincent Tong, Cardi Wong and Shannon Chan-Kent in regular voice roles.
Bethany Brown, Brian Drummond, Barbara Kottmeier, Alessandro Juliani, Ali J. Eisner, Diana Kaarina and Kathleen Barr co-star. Steve Ball serves as series director.
