Martin Scorsese is set to direct and produce a new untitled biopic about the iconic band The Grateful Dead and he’s enlisted his “The Wolf of Wall Street” scene-stealer Jonah Hill to play frontman band frontman Jerry Garcia.

“American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson” writers Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski will pen the feature which, like Scorsese’s currently in production “Killers of the Flower Moon,” is set up at Apple.

Hill will also produce the Grateful Dead film alongside Rick Yorn. The band and the group’s management are reportedly participating in the film, and Apple has scored the rights to use the group’s musical catalogue in it.

Scorsese previously executive produced the 2017 documentary “Long Strange Trip” about the band.
