Mayor of Kingstown
“Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan’s new drama series “Mayor of Kingstown” debuted on Sunday to 2.6 million viewers with a simulcast on Paramount Network and the Paramount+ service and 3.2 million total viewers across the night.
The Jeremy Renner, Kyle Chandler and Dianne Wiest-led series, about a family involved in the for-profit prison industry, is already the top original scripted drama for Paramount+ since March. The series will shift exclusively to Paramount+ on November 28th. [Source: Variety]

New Regency has entered a development and production partnership with indie comics publisher TKO Studios. As part of the deal, New Regency will have the right to exclusively develop television projects from TKO’s library of IP like “Sara” and “Sentient”. Salvatore Simeone and Tze Chun will produce. Blockbuster
Netflix has handed out a straight-to-series order for the workplace comedy “Blockbuster” with Randall Park (“Ant-Man”) to star while Vanessa Ramos (“Superstore,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) created the series and will write with David Caspe and Jackie Clarke. Originally developed for NBC, the ten-episode ensemble comedy takes place at the last Blockbuster Video in America. [Source: THR]
Solar Opposites
Hulu has premiered the trailer for a new holiday special episode of its animated comedy series “Solar Opposites” which hails from “Rick and Morty” co-creator Justin Roiland. The episode will be released on the service on November 22nd.
