A new trailer and poster has been released for “Dog,” the buddy comedy which follows the misadventures of two former Army Rangers – a man played by Channing Tatum, and a Belgian Malinois dog – paired against their will on the road trip of a lifetime.
In a 1984 Ford Bronco, the pair race down the Pacific Coast in hopes of making it to a fellow soldier’s funeral on time. On the way they will break a handful of laws, narrowly evade death, and earn a fighting chance of finding happiness.
The project marks a return to the screen for Tatum who, aside from voice work and a cameo in “Free Guy,” hasn’t starred in a film since “Logan Lucky” and “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” released four years ago.
Tatum also co-directed the feature with his producing partner Reid Carolin. Q’orianka Kilcher and Jane Adams co-star in the film which opens February 18th.
