“Stranger Things,” “Hellboy” and “Black Widow” alum David Harbour is getting his own “John Wick”-style vehicle.
The actor will star in “Violent Night,” a “coal-dark” holiday thriller which is being produced by 87North Productions (“John Wick,” “Nobody,” “Atomic Blonde”).
Norwegian filmmaker director Tommy Wirkola (“Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters”) will direct from an original screenplay by “Sonic the Hedgehog” film scribes Pat Casey and Josh Miller.
Kelly McCormick and David Leitch will produce. Universal Pictures has set a December 2nd 2022 global release date in cinemas.
