Starz has handed out a renewal order for a second season of “Heels,” the wrestling drama starring Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig as brothers.
Production on the second season will begin in 2022 while Trey Tucker (who plays Bobby Pin) and Robby Ramos (who plays Diego Cottonmouth) have both been promoted to series regulars.
Mike O’Malley will also return as showrunner in addition to continuing in the role of Charlie Gully. Set in a Georgia town, the show follows the men and women of the Duffy Wrestling League which is owned by feuding brothers trying to ensure the legacy of their father who founded the league.
Diego Cottonmouth, Mary McCormack, Kelli Berglund, Allen Maldonado, James Harrison, Roxton Garcia and Chris Bauer co-star.
