Sofia Boutella (“Kingsman: The Secret Service,” “Star Trek: Beyond,” “The Mummy”) will lead Zack Snyder’s new Netflix and Stone Quarry Productions feature “Rebel Moon”.
When a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand.
Snyder also penned the screenplay with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. Eric Newman, Deborah Snyder, Wesley Coller and Zack Snyder will produce.
