An animated movie based on DC’s Milestone Media imprint comics is in development with Brandon Thomas penning the script.
Writer-producer Reginald Hudlin and Milestone co-founder Denys Cowan announced the project during the DC FanDome event on Saturday.
Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment are producing the project which will focus on “more than one character” which suggests the likes of Static, Hardware, and Icon and Rocket could be included.
Milestone launched in 1993 to put focus on diverse superheroes featuring a group of characters from the fictional city of Dakota.
The project is separate from the live-action “Static Shock” movie produced by Michael B. Jordan which is in the works with Randy McKinnon writing the script.
