Filming is still very much underway on “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” but DC used this year’s Fandome event to release the first featurette for the film.
Sadly there’s no completed footage on display, but there is some behind-the-scenes footage and animated storyboards.
Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Yahya Abdul Mateen II are all returning while Pilou Asbæek joins the cast for the new film.
David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick pens the script for the film which began filming in Hawaii in July. “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” will open on December 16th 2022.
