Out doing promotional rounds for Amazon’s “Pan y Circo” series, actor Diego Luna has revealed that the upcoming “Star Wars: Andor” series has finished filming.
The series, a twelve-episode prequel to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” sees reprising his role as Rebel spy Cassian Andor. Speaking with Deadline, he added that “Andor” will include some others you may know:
“You’ll definitely see familiar faces. I can tell you about this project like no other because I can’t spoil the ending if you’ve seen [Stars Wars: Rogue One] already. No matter what I say, I can’t ruin the ending.”
“Andor” will start out five years before the events of “Rogue One” and we already know that Forest Whitaker will reprise his role of Saw Gerrera.
The “Andor” series is expected to premiere on the Disney+ service sometime in 2022, while Luna’s Amazon series hits October 8th.
