Demon Slayer
Funimation has confirmed that the seven-episode Mugen Train Arc of “Demon Slayer,” a re-edit of the hit movie into seven episodes with dozens of new scenes, will kick off on the platform from October 10th.

That comes ahead of the show’s second season, the highly anticipated Entertainment District Arc, which will launch on the service on December 5th. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll will simulcast both arcs as they air in Japan. [Source: Coming Soon]

The Reckoning
Steve Coogan will play the infamous Jimmy Savile in the BBC One drama “The Reckoning”. Sandra Goldbacher directs the project which hails from Neil McKay and executive producer Jeff Pope.

The story will follow Savile who, after his death in 2011, it was revealed he had reportedly sexually abused hundreds of child victims. The series aims to explore how Savile’s offending went unchecked for so long. [Source: THR]

Alan Wake Remastered
Microsoft’s Xbox has released a new trailer for the remaster of “Alan Wake” – the clip showcasing how the graphics of both the new 4K gameplay and enhanced cutscenes improve on the 2010 original. “Alan Wake Remastered” will launch on October 5th.

Kate: Collateral Damage
Netflix has announced “Kate: Collateral Damage,” a new isometric roguelike game based on their recent Mary Elizabeth Winstead-led assassin film which arrived earlier this month. The game itself, which hails from Ludic Studios (“Akane”), will hit Steam on October 22nd.
