A number of gaming sites, first starting with YouTuber Gautoz and then filled out more by DualShockers and Kotaku, have indicated that game developer Quantic Dream is reportedly in the early stages of working on a “Star Wars” game.
Quantic Dream are the French game developers behind the celebrated cinematic-driven interactive branched storytelling PlayStation titles “Heavy Rain” and “Detroit: Become Human” along with “Fahrenheit” and “Beyond: Two Souls”.
With their contract with Sony ended, the independent developer has apparently already been in negotiations and development of the game for well over a year if the source’s claims for the reports are accurate.
While Quantic Dream’s previous games have been largely quicktime event-driven single-player only affairs, their recently opened Montreal branch aims to include more traditional action gameplay elements and possible multiplayer.
