“Game of Thrones” and “Star Wars” alum Gwendoline Christie has been set in a key role in Tim Burton’s live-action Addams Family series “Wednesday” at Netflix.

Christie will play Larissa Weems, the principal of Nevermore Academy who has an axe to grind with her former classmate Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones).

The coming-of-age comedy follows Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) in her years as a student at Nevermore Academy as she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.

Christie joins a cast that also includes Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, Issac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, George Burcea as Lurch, Victor Dorobantu as Thing and series regulars Thora Birch, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mostafa and Percy Hynes White among others..

The project hails from “Smallville” creators Al Gough and Miles Millar with Burton slated to direct. All three executive produce.
