A live-action version of the classic “She-Ra: Princess of Power” cartoon and toyline is in early development at Amazon.
DreamWorks Animation, which produced the recent Netflix animated series, will serve as an executive producer here but this live-action version will not be connected to that show.
The project is in very early stages with no writer currently attached. If it moves forward though, this would be the first time Princess Adora and her friends have been done in live-action.
The original series ran for two seasons and nearly 100 episodes between 1985 and 1986. The Netflix series ran for five seasons and 52 episodes, wrapping its run last year.
