Ethan Hawke To Voice Batman In Batwheels

Cartoonito, the new preschool programming block of WarnerMedia Kids & Family, launched today on both HBO Max and Cartoon Network.

As part of that launch, the casts were revealed for a pair of animated projects, one of which was the action-adventure comedy series “Batwheels “that will feature Ethan Hawke as the voice of Batman. The show deals with the iconic vehicles from the Batman DC comic series.

Also starring are AJ Hudson as Duke Thomas/Robin, Leah Lewis as Cassandra Cain/Batgirl, Jacob Bertrand as Bam the Batmobile, Jordan Reed as Robin’s sports car Redbird, Madigan Kacmar as Batgirl’s motorcycle, Noah Bentley as Bat-styled monster truck Buff, Lilimar as Batwing, Kimberly D. Brooks as The Batcomputer, and Mick Wingert as Batman’s robot repairman Moe.

Sam Register (“Looney Tunes Cartoons”) serves as executive producer. The new Cartoonito block will feature a Fall slate of twenty new series with a slate of originals aiming to reach 50 shows in two years.

In other Batman news, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced on Monday that in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the DC Universe Movies release of “Batman: Year One” – a fully remastered version of the film is launching on November 9th.
