Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar
Released earlier this year on PVOD, Lionsgate’s critically loved cult absurdist comedy “Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar” will be a theatrical run this Fall as a part of Drafthouse’s interactive ‘Movie Party’ series.
These screenings of the Kristen Wiig, Annie Mumolo and Jamie Dornan-led comedy will also have interactive props and themed beach party food and drink menu specials. [Source: Slashfilm]
Super Mario Brothers
Italian comedian and actor Sebastian Maniscalco has revealed he has recorded lines for the role of ‘Foreman Spike,’ the boss of plumbers Mario and Luigi, in the upcoming animated “Super Mario Bros.” movie at Illumination Entertainment. A24 has announced a one-night only digital release of their newest critically acclaimed film “The Green Knight”. Tickets are $20 USD for the release which will happen via the A24 Films screening room website at 9pm US-EDT and running for a four-hour window only.

Malignant
New footage from James Wan’s horror thriller “Malignant” has arrived in a TV spot which you can see below. Annabelle Wallis plays a woman paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities. The film hits cinemas and HBO Max on September 10th.
