Amazon Studios has released the final trailer for “Annette,” the highly anticipated new film from “Holy Motors” director Leos Carax.
Adam Driver, Marion Cotillard, Simon Helberg and Belgian singer Angele star in the film in which Driver plays a provocative stand-up comedian in Los Angeles while Cotillard is an internationally renowned soprano.
Together they form a happy and glamorous couple. But the birth of their first child, a mysterious girl with an exceptional destiny, will turn their lives upside down.
Shot across Los Angeles, Brussels, Bruges, and parts of Germany, and scored entirely by Sparks who helped conceive the film, the movie premiered at Cannes and will get a U.S. theatrical release this Friday ahead of an Amazon Prime release on August 20th.
