Adult Swim and Crunchyroll have unveiled the first trailer for the anime series “Blade Runner: Black Lotus” which will premiere this Fall on that network and SVOD service.
The trailer, unveiled as part of this year’s SDCC@Home panels, shows off a look at the thirteen-episode series from directors Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama.
Set in 2032 Los Angeles, Jessica Henwick voices Elle – a mysterious female replicant created for unknown purposes. Across the series’ run she must discover the truth about herself and the conspiracy that surrounds her.
Will Yun Lee and Brian Cox’s voices can also be heard in the trailer. Alcon Entertainment and animation studio Sola Digital Arts are backing the project, with Shinichiro Watanabe (“Cowboy Bebop”) serving as a creative producer.
