Witcher Monster Slayer Ar Game Out

CD PROJEKT Red and indie mobile game developer Spokko have teamed up to release the first augmented-reality game in “The Witcher” game franchise.

“The Witcher: Monster Slayer,” available today for free on mobile devices and first announced during WitcherCon the other week, sees players navigate the story as a witcher-in-training.

Your goal is to become an elite monster hunter, fighting your way through familiar but monster-infested lands. The game employs an RPG style combat system to offer a balanced training system for players’ chosen characters.

Players will battle old and new enemies alike to add to their ever-growing collection of monster trophies, gear upgrades and tactical improvements – growing skills as a monster hunter.

Real-time weather and time of day also play a role in hunting and combat – in fact some monsters only appear in certain conditions and times.
