Michelle Monaghan (“Mission: Impossible – Fallout,” “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”) will play twins in the Netflix seven-episode mystery thriller series “Echoes”.
The story follows two identical twins, Leni and Gina, who share a dangerous secret – since childhood they have secretly swapped lives, culminating in a double life as adults – sharing two homes, two husbands, and a child.
One is a content homebody living on a beautiful horse farm with her childhood sweetheart husband. The other is a rebel who escaped to Los Angeles and rose to fame writing dark tales about Southern childhood.
Everything in their perfectly choreographed world is soon thrown into disarray when one of the sisters goes missing. Monaghan will play Leni and Gina.
Brian Yorkey (“13 Reasons Why”) and Quinton Peeples (“Runaways”) serve as showrunners on the series and exec produce alongside creator-writer Vanessa Gazy (“Eden”).
